Baseball Recap: Christopher Cougars vs. Leigh Longhorns

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Christopher ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Leigh Longhorns 7-5. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Longhorns on Wednesday, they had to take a 10-0 defeat.

Christopher got a great performance from Matthew Anderson as he tossed six innings while giving up four earned runs off four hits. Anderson has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
