Soccer Game Preview: Temple vs. Shoemaker

Temple is on a three-game streak of home losses, Shoemaker a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Temple Wildcats will host the Shoemaker Wolves at 7:15 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Temple's offense. They fell just short of Harker Heights by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Shoemaker also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Harker Heights on Friday, falling 7-0.

Temple's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-2. As for Shoemaker, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10-1.

Everything went Temple's way against Shoemaker when the teams last played back in January, as Temple made off with a 6-0 win. Will Temple repeat their success, or does Shoemaker have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
