Baseball Recap: Indian Springs Comes Up Short

Indian Springs has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.88 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They lost 12-2 to the Victory Christian Lions. It was the first time this season that the Student let down their fans at home.

Indian Springs saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sebastian Bermudez, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Indian Springs' loss dropped their record down to 4-3-1. As for Victory Christian, the win got them back to even at 4-4-1.

Looking ahead, Indian Springs will venture away from home to challenge Donoho at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Indian Springs is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Victory Christian, they are taking a road trip to square off against Cornerstone at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Victory Christian will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
