Recap: Ord Chanticleers vs. Arcadia/Loup City Rebels
The Ord Chanticleers posted their biggest win yet this season on Saturday. They breezed by Arcadia/Loup City at home to the tune of 69-42. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-19.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ord to victory, but perhaps none more so than Marin Reilly, who scored 17 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Natalie Williams, who scored 14 points.
The win got Ord back to even at 7-7. As for Arcadia/Loup City, their defeat was their 15th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-11.
Ord and Wood River will face off on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Wood River is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Arcadia/Loup City, they will head out on the road to face off against Doniphan-Trumbull at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Doniphan-Trumbull focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 last Tuesday.
