Volleyball Recap: Mourning Sharks vs. Mater Lakes Academy Bears

Mourning and Mater Lakes Academy squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Mourning had to settle for second. They came up short against the Mater Lakes Academy Bears, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sharks of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.

While Mourning was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-13.

After both having extra time off, Mater Lakes Academy and LaBelle will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
