Coral Academy of Science - Reno hadn't done well against West Wendover recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Falcons put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp 3-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Wolverines back in September, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Coral Academy of Science - Reno walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 25-13.

Madyson McLaurin paced Coral Academy of Science - Reno's offense, picking up four kills. McLaurin got some help from Lexi Johnson and her 11 assists. Johnson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Coral Academy of Science - Reno's win ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11. As for West Wendover, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-12.
