Prairie Heights's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Churubusco Eagles, sneaking past 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since April 26th.

Prairie Heights saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lakyn Duke, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Prairie Heights' victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-14. As for Churubusco, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.
