East Rowan had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Carson Cougars. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Cougars back in August, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

The victory didn't come easy: Carson scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-19, 13-25, 25-19.

East Rowan's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Carson, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 12 matches and leaves them with a 17-3 record.

East Rowan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Northwest Cabarrus on the 25th. As for Carson, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against West Rowan on the 25th.
