Rockwood came up into this matchup off a tough 30-point loss on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Wartburg Central by a score of 43-41 on Tuesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Keegan Koch, who posted eight points and seven boards. Collin Abston was another key player, putting up six points and nine assists.

Maryville Christian typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Oliver Springs proved too difficult a challenge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 54-52 win over the Eagles.

Rockwood's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Oliver Springs, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-13.

Rockwood came up short against Oliver Springs when the teams last played back in January, falling 55-45. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Oliver Springs' Ethan Jones, who went 10 of 18 on his way to 24 points in addition to five assists and four steals.
