Softball Recap: Riverton Hawks vs. Pawnee Indians
Sadly, Riverton is still looking for their first win of the season after 13 matches. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 16-1 walloping at the hands of the Pawnee Indians on Wednesday. Riverton was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Pawnee apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2019.
Riverton saw one different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Lanham, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.
Riverton's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Pawnee, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.
