Recap: Woodlake Tigers vs. Lindsay Cardinals
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Granite Hills, the Woodlake Tigers were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They walked away with a 44-32 win over Lindsay. For Woodlake, this counts as revenge for the 68-11 defeat Lindsay walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Woodlake's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Giovani Rodriguez, who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rodriguez has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Luis Rios, who scored ten points.
Woodlake's win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-16. As for Lindsay, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-16.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodlake will square off against Strathmore at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lindsay, they will head out on the road to square off against Granite Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
