Basketball Game Preview: Crockett County Cavaliers vs. Dyersburg Trojans

The Crockett County Cavaliers will square off against the Dyersburg Trojans on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Crockett County earned a 46-39 win over Fayette Ware. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cavaliers.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dyersburg). They claimed a resounding 80-21 victory over Bolton. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Dyersburg pushed their record up to 24-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33 points. As for Crockett County, their victory bumped their record up to 21-7.

Crockett County was dealt a bruising 49-22 defeat at the hands of Dyersburg in their previous meeting back in February. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Dyersburg's Chelby Jordan, who shot 67% from the field to rack up 18 points and eight rebounds.
