Basketball Recap: Cheraw Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sierra Grande on Friday, Cheraw came back down to earth. The Wolverines fell 46-40 to the Evangel Christian Academy Eagles on Saturday. The Wolverines were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Cheraw's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Cheraw will challenge Rocky Ford at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Evangel Christian Academy, they will square off against Genoa-Hugo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
