Soccer Recap: West Cabarrus Takes a Loss

West Cabarrus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls. While losing is never fun, West Cabarrus can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 198th, while Hickory Ridge are ranked sixth).

West Cabarrus' defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Hickory Ridge, the win keeps they at an undefeated 13-0.

Looking ahead, West Cabarrus will be playing at home against South Iredell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hickory Ridge, they will square off against Hickory at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Hickory will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Hickory Ridge surely won't give up without a fight.
