Soccer Recap: Hunterdon Central Falls to Hopewell Valley Central in First Game of Season

Hunterdon Central had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 3-1 to the Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs. Hunterdon Central were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hopewell Valley Central apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2019.

Looking ahead, Hunterdon Central will take on Bridgewater-Raritan at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hopewell Valley Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Toms River South at 10:00 a.m. on September 6.
