Basketball Game Preview: Hemingway Tigers vs. Lake View Wild Gators

Hemingway is on an 11-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, Lake View a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Hemingway Tigers will welcome the Lake View Wild Gators at 8:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Hemingway was beaten by Carvers Bay 66-33.

Meanwhile, Lake View's game on Thursday was all tied up 17-17 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 38-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Latta.

Hemingway will need focus on slowing down Cameron Wheeler, one of several Lake View players who made an impact when they last played. He posted four points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Roundtree, who had five points.

Hemingway's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Lake View, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Hemingway was able to grind out a solid victory over Lake View in their previous matchup back in February of 2020, winning 56-45. Will Hemingway repeat their success, or does Lake View have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
