West Wilkes is 6-1 against North Surry since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Blackhawks will face off against the Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

North Surry will be up against a hot West Wilkes team: the squad just extended their winning streak to seven. The Blackhawks never let North Wilkes get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Friday. Eight seems to be a good number for the Blackhawks as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Meanwhile, North Surry hadn't done well against Forbush recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Greyhounds were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Falcons. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Greyhounds considering their two-run performance the match before.

West Wilkes pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for North Surry, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-6.

West Wilkes came out on top in a nail-biter against North Surry in their previous matchup on April 1st, sneaking past 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blackhawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
