Storm Lake had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.7 points) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 71-48 margin over the South Central Calhoun Titans. Given the Tornadoes' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Titans are ranked 189th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
