Springville and North Cedar are an even 4-4 against one another since June of 2016, but likely not for long. The Orioles will be playing at home against the Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Springville had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Calamus-Wheatland put an end to it on Monday. The Orioles came up short against the Warriors, falling 12-2. The Orioles' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, North Cedar fell victim to Easton Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 11-0 to Easton Valley.

Springville now has a losing record of 4-5. As for North Cedar, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Springville was able to grind out a solid win over North Cedar when the teams last played back in June of 2023, winning 7-3. Will the Orioles repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
