West Florida Baptist Academy faced Calvary Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Conquerors came up short against the Patriots, falling 6-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as West Florida Baptist Academy were already down 5-0.

West Florida Baptist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Calvary Christian Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-7.

While West Florida Baptist Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
