Purnell Swett won the last time they faced Fairmont and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Rams blew past the Golden Tornadoes 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Purnell Swett walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-21, 25-9, 25-17.

Despite the defeat, Fairmont had strong showings from Jerrian Taylor, who had 13 digs, and Alexa Grimsley, who had three aces.

Purnell Swett's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Fairmont, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
