Volleyball Game Preview: Declo Hornets vs. North Star Huskies

The Declo Hornets will take on the North Star Huskies in a tournament on Friday. Declo is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

While Declo's victory against Wendell wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hornets had just enough and edged out the Trojans 3-2.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Declo got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 18-25, 25-19, 23-25, 15-11.

Meanwhile, North Star came up short against Idaho City on Thursday and fell 3-1.

While North Star had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 21-25, 25-18, 25-19.

Declo's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for North Star, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
