Baseball Recap: Milburn Eagles vs. Soper Bears
Milburn extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 3-9. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-7 to the Soper Bears, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-7 on Tuesday.

Joseph Thompson and Rage Smith did some serious damage despite the final result: Thompson got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs, while Smith got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs. Smith has become a key player for Milburn: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-8 otherwise. Daylon Davis also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
