Volleyball Recap: Forsyth Central Takes a Loss

Forsyth Central was the 3-2 winner over East Forsyth when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

Despite the defeat, Forsyth Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sydney Carr had 17 digs and two assists.

Forsyth Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for East Forsyth, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Forsyth Central will face off against Mount Pisgah Christian at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. East Forsyth has already played their next match (against Cherokee Bluff), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
