Baseball Game Preview: Marmion Cadets vs. Enderlin Eagles

For the second straight game, Marmion will face off against Enderlin. Marmion will face off against Enderlin at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.

Marmion had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Enderlin on Saturday. Marmion's pitchers stepped up to hand Enderlin a 10-0 shutout.

Charlie Schweiner looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Adam Ozsvath was a standout: he scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Kevin Schultz, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Marmion always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Enderlin only posted an OBP of .167.

Marmion is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. Enderlin's loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
