Gilbert's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Queen Creek Bulldogs, sneaking past 56-54. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won eight in a row.

Gilbert's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Queen Creek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-11.

Looking ahead, Gilbert will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Higley at 7:00 p.m. Higley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Gilbert likes a good challenge. As for Queen Creek, they will head out to challenge Williams Field at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
