Basketball Recap: San Elizario Takes a Loss

San Elizario lost against Riverside back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The San Elizario Eagles fell to the Riverside Rangers 48-43.

Marcus Jauregui continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Riverside, putting up 16 points. Another player making a difference was Juan Salgado, who posted eight points.

San Elizario has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-19 record this season. As for Riverside, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season.

San Elizario has already played their next match, a 51-36 victory against Clint on the 11th. As for Riverside, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-45 defeat against Ysleta on the 11th.
