Basketball Recap: Kemp Comes Up Short

Kemp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 65-18 loss at the hands of the Athens Hornets. The Yellowjackets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-8.

When it comes to explaining why Kemp lost, don't look at Emma Bailey. Despite the final result, she posted ten points.

Kemp's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Athens, the victory got them back to even at 13-13.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Brownsboro the next time they take the court. Kemp will host Brownsboro at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Athens will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
