Volleyball Game Preview: Dwight Trojans vs. Midland Timberwolves

The Dwight Trojans will face off against the Midland Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Dwight beat Woodland 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Midland was able to grind out a solid win over LaMoille on Wednesday, taking the game 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Midland was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12.

Dwight's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Midland, their win bumped their record up to 20-5.

Dwight was able to grind out a solid victory over Midland in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Timberwolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
