Baseball Recap: Memorial Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Memorial's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Wylie Bulldogs on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Mavericks in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Wylie, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4-1.

Looking ahead, Memorial will head out on the road to challenge Saginaw at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Mavericks are facing the Rough Riders at the right time seeing as the Rough Riders are stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for Wylie, they will face off against Cooper at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
