Fountain Valley has gone a perfect 3-0 against Calvary Chapel recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. Fountain Valley is taking a road trip to take on Calvary Chapel at 3:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Fountain Valley saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over Woodrow Wilson. The Barons haven't had any issues with the Bruins recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Fountain Valley got a great performance from Mazy Ascasio as she didn't allow a single earned run over 5.2 innings pitched. Furthermore, Ascasio didn't allow a single earned run, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Fountain Valley's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Sam Sameshima, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. Meanwhile, Calvary Chapel got the win against Westminster two weeks ago by a conclusive 13-4.

Meanwhile, Sisunik tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. At the plate, Boisvert scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while Sisunik scored a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Bella Bos was excellent, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4. Jacqueline Brito was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Fountain Valley now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Calvary Chapel, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5.
