Armijo took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 34-2 margin over Burbank. The high-scoring effort was just what the Royals needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Brooklyn Talbot was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk).
