Football Recap: Fort Defiance Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fort Defiance fell victim to Riverheads and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 35-0 loss at the hands of the Gladiators. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Jackson Fitzgerald and Preston McCauley. Fitzgerald rushed for 80 yards and one TD while McCauley rushed for 46 yards and one touchdown.

Fort Defiance now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Riverheads, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Coincidentally, Fort Defiance and Riverheads will both be playing Rockbridge County the next time they take the field. The Gladiators will head out to face the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Indians will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
