Basketball Recap: Sterling Drops Season-High Score on Gloucester City

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Sterling had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They strolled past the Gloucester City Lions with points to spare, taking the game 53-34. The Silver Knights' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sterling to victory, but perhaps none more so than Paris Logan, who went 6-for-10 on her way to 19 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. Logan has become a key player for Sterling: the team is 5-1 when she posts at least three steals, but 9-12 otherwise. Amber Wilsey was another key player, putting up ten points and three steals.

Sterling was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They are a perfect 8-0 when they've passed the ball that well.

Sterling now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Gloucester City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Sterling nor Gloucester City have any future games scheduled.
