Basketball Recap: Blake Colehour's Big Game Can't Quite Lead D'evelyn over Golden

D'Evelyn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 59-38 to the Golden Demons. The Jaguars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-12.

D'Evelyn lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Blake Colehour, who posted five points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Emrick Steinat, who scored six points.

Golden's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dylan Paulson led the charge by going 5 of 8 en route to 12 points and six steals. The dominant performance also gave Paulson a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (67%). Leif Hansen was another key player, going 6 for 12 on his way to 14 points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

D'Evelyn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Golden, they pushed their record up to 12-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
