Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McCreary Central). They blew past the York Institute Dragons, posting a 66-35 win. For the Raiders, this counts as revenge for the 56-49 victory the Dragons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.

McCreary Central pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for York Institute, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

McCreary Central will take on Southwestern in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Southwestern will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something McCreary Central surely won't give up without a fight. As for York Institute, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on KIPP Nashville Collegiate at 2:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
