Volleyball Recap: Carrollton Victorious

Carrollton lost to St. Paul Lutheran back in October of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Trojans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Saints. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Carrollton didn't let St. Paul Lutheran take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23.

Jenna Owen paced Carrollton's offense, picking up five kills. Owen got some help from Kinsey Fisher and her 11 assists. Fisher was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Carrollton's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for St. Paul Lutheran, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Carrollton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Bishop LeBlond on the 13th. As for St. Paul Lutheran, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
