It was a proper cat-fight when Cross County duked it out with Superior on Thursday. The Cougars came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ava Pruter paced Cross County's offense, picking up seven kills. Pruter got some help from Eden Peterson and her 19 assists. Finley Peterson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Cross County's record is now 12-7. As for Superior, they are on a 19-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-21.

Cross County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Wood River on the 2nd. As for Superior, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against H&H on the 2nd.
