Desert Christian had already won ten in a row and they went ahead and made it 11 on Monday. They came out on top against Trinity Classical Academy by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for Desert Christian: when they faced off against Trinity Classical Academy back in September, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Desert Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-16, 25-20, 25-22.

Abigail McGaughey paced Desert Christian's offense, picking up 15 kills. McGaughey got some help from Leylah Balcorta and her 22 assists. Finally, Katelynn Johnson kept Desert Christian's defense grounded, leading the team with seven blocks.

Desert Christian's win bumped their record up to 19-5-1. As for Trinity Classical Academy, their defeat ended a seven-match streak of away wins and brought them to 17-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Desert Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Vasquez at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Trinity Classical Academy will square off against rival Santa Clarita Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
