Softball Game Preview: Juarez Eagles vs. Payton College Prep Grizzlies

The Juarez Eagles will head out to challenge the Payton College Prep Grizzlies at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Juarez will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.

Juarez's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Wednesday's struggle, when Clemente hitters got past them. The Eagles blew past the Wildcats 22-12 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won eight games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, Payton College Prep was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against Whitney Young, falling 17-2.

Juarez's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Payton College Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.
