Softball Recap: Whitewater Whippets vs. Clinton Cougars
Whitewater was the 2-1 winner over Clinton when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Whippets fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-1 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Whippets have suffered since March 26th.
Whitewater saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paige Kollwelter, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Kollwelter has snagged this season.
