Volleyball Recap: Woodruff Takes a Loss

After flying high against Laurens on Thursday, Woodruff came back down to earth. The Wolverines took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pickens Blue Flame on Saturday.

Jolin Pettay paced Woodruff's offense, picking up two kills. Pettay got some help from Natalee Simmons and her three assists.

Woodruff's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Pickens, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Woodruff didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Woodmont on the 6th. As for Pickens, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest on the 6th.
