Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ambassador). Everything went their way against the Animo City of Champions Wildcats on Wednesday as they made off with a 28-2 win. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Lions with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Ambassador and bumps their season record up to 4-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Animo City of Champions, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the loss, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Ambassador will square off against Shalhevet at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Firehawks have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season. As for Animo City of Champions, they will challenge Hawthorne Math & Science Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Aviators at the right time seeing as the Aviators are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
