Volleyball Recap: Rio Mesa Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

Rio Mesa won the last time they faced Buena and things went their way on Thursday too. The Spartans came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-19, 23-25, 25-5.

Rio Mesa's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-12. As for Buena, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rio Mesa will take on Oaks Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Buena, they will face off against Bishop Diego at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
