Volleyball Game Preview: Bonneville Lakers vs. Northridge Knights

The Bonneville Lakers will square off against the Northridge Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Bonneville came up short against Woods Cross and fell 3-1. The Lakers have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Bonneville was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Woods Cross work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 21-25, 25-19, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Northridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to Box Elder.

Northridge took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16, 25-19.

Northridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Bonneville, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-14.

Everything went Bonneville's way against Northridge in their previous meeting back in March, as Bonneville made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lakers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
