After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lakeside, Riverside was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 22-18 victory over the Medical Lake Cardinals. The Rams' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Riverside got a massive performance out of Izzy Cotner, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with one home run, five runs, and two stolen bases. That home run marked the first that Cotner has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Winterroth, who went 4-for-6 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

Riverside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .660. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Riverside's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Medical Lake, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Riverside will have a chance to go back-to-back against Medical Lake: the pair will be back at it again later today.
