After low-scoring totals in their previous three matchup, Southern Wells brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They put the hurt on the Liberty Christian Lions with a sharp 11-1 victory on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won six in a row.

Alexis Pennington made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (two).
