Softball Recap: Vision Comes Up Short

Vision was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 26-2 to the New Plymouth Pilgrims. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against New Plymouth this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-1 two weeks ago.

Vision saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rayah Buster, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and two RBI. Those doubles marked the first that Buster hit this season.

Vision's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for New Plymouth, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vision will welcome Marsing at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Vision's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Huskies have averaged an impressive 8.6 runs per game this season. As for New Plymouth, they will be playing at home against Melba at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pilgrims' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
