Volleyball Recap: Templeton Comes Up Short

Templeton lost against Santa Ynez back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Pirates, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-7, 25-19.

Templeton's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Santa Ynez, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Templeton will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lompoc at 6:00 p.m. on September 2. As for Santa Ynez, they will be playing at home against Santa Barbara at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
