The Paramus Catholic Paladins will square off against the Red Bank Catholic Caseys at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Paramus Catholic: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Red Bank Catholic has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season.

Paramus Catholic is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Jersey's top teams: Bergen Catholic, who was ranked second at the time (Paramus Catholic was ranked 14th). The Paladins were outmatched by the Crusaders and fell 45-14. The Paladins were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-7.

Although Paramus Catholic took the loss, they still got scores from AJ Lopez Jr and Chris Aldana.

Meanwhile, Red Bank Catholic got the win against Rumson-Fair Haven on Friday by a conclusive 34-10. The result was nothing new for the Caseys, who have now won four games by 21 points or more so far this season.
